Dear Supernatural writers, it is okay for Dean and Sam to care about people outside of each other and Bobby. It’s okay for them to have friends, hell, it’s perfectly acceptable for one of them to have a girlfriend/boyfriend or even a kid. It does not negate their relationship. It doesn’t mean that they love each other any less, it doesn’t mean that they still wouldn’t kill or die for each other.
#i’d go so far as to say it’d be good and HEALTHY for them to do so #becoming solely dependent on one person isn’t romantic it’s scary as fuck #no matter if you’re the one doing the depending or being depended upon #having other relationships won’t tarnish the one they have #i don’t know what else to say here really #the other characters are important too #they’re not just accessories or plot devices #and it’s insulting to both them AND the brothers to treat them all like this
